San Diego Comic-Con (2025) is one of the largest fan conventions globally. Thousands of fans attend annually to celebrate anything from superheroes and science fiction to horror, fantasy, and animation.

It’s the destination where movie studios announce new films, television shows, trailers, and surprise guest.

Comic-Con 2025 did not fail! This year’s event was filled with tons of amazing movie trailers, first looks, and big reveals. Some trailers made fans scream, some were hilarious, and some left fans in shock.

1. Predator: Badlands

This new Predator movie is set in a future wasteland where a young Predator goes on its first hunt — and gets help from a female robot. The trailer and a 15-minute clip were shown in Hall H. Releases November 7, 2025.

2. Tron: Ares

The digital realm of Tron is back! This film depicts what occurs when the Grid invades the real world. Jared Leto plays Ares, and it’s scored by Nine Inch Nails. The graphics are gorgeous. Out October 10, 2025.

3. Five Nights at Freddy’s 2

Creepy animatronic terror is back! The trailer hints at more jump scares and familiar characters. Out December 5, 2025. Ideal for chilling winter nights.

4. Spinal Tap II: The End Continues

The world’s most disastrous rock band is having one final shot. In the sequel to the cult classic, the boys get back together for a comeback tour — and naturally, everything that can possibly go wrong does.

Fans caught a glimpse of their new antics in the teaser that screened at the con. Release date: Early 2026

5. The Long Walk

This one is based on a Stephen King book and it looks really intense. In the movie, a group of boys have to keep walking without stopping — if they stop, they die. The trailer gave fans chills.

Expected release: Late 2025.

6. Coyote vs. Acme

Wile E. Coyote finally has had enough and sues Acme for all of their defective products. Will Forte appears as his attorney in this live-action crossed with cartoon comedy. Footage revealed at Comic-Con had people chuckling, particularly when Bugs Bunny appeared.

7. Star Trek: Khan (Tease)

We didn’t see a complete trailer, but the teaser suggested a dive into Khan’s back story — one of Star Trek’s most legendary villains. It’s becoming a serious, character-based prequel set before the original series.

8. Avatar: Seven Havens

James Cameron is back with more breathtaking visuals from the world of Avatar. This sequel pushes the universe to fresh moons and alien races. The brief teaser featured floating islands, glowing forests, and still more of the breathtaking world-building fans anticipate.

9. Project Hail Mary

Ryan Gosling plays a man who wakes up by himself on a spaceship with no idea how he got there — and it turns out he could be the last hope for humanity. The footage that was screened was chock-full of mystery, emotion, and big sci-fi moments.

10. TMNT vs. Godzilla

TMNT vs. Godzilla

This surprise crossover pits the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles against Godzilla in an animated action movie. The trailer was having fun with quick-burning animation, and the sort of wacky face-off that gets people excited for more.
