Samantha Akkineni recently appeared in the Indian web series family man season 2. She played the role of Raji aka Rajalakshmi Separanam (a rebel).
She is gaining lots of appreciation for her acting. And after her mind-blowing performance as Raji, her fans are eagerly waiting for her next webseries project.

Samantha will not do any webseries
In an interview given by Samantha, she said that she only did Family man 2 because co-directors Raj Nidimoru and DK persuade her to do this role. And also I loved its season 1.
Not only Family man 2. These are also great webseries.
Apart from this, she also wanted to do a negative role and that’s why she said yes to do this role.
Currently, she has no plan of doing any webseries. In this lockdown period, she is spending time with her husband Naga Chaitanya.
Who is Samantha Akkineni ?
Samantha Ruth Prabhu (Akkineni after marriage) is a popular south Indian actress. During her undergraduate degree, she also did some modeling assignments. And in between this she was spotted by filmmaker Ravi verman.
She began her career from Gautham Menon’s “Ye Maya Chesave” starring Naga Chaitanya. Once she told to media that Menon played an important role in her career development. As he is the one who teaches her how to be confident and natural in front of the screen.
Her first success came from the movie “Dookudu” in which she paired with popular actor Mahesh Babu.
Despite any other movie “Theri” was the biggest turning point for her career as her fame increased after this movie. And because of her amazing performance, she gained a worldwide fan following.
Samantha also made her television debut with big boss season-4 (Telugu).
She is also a recipient of four Filmfare awards, 2 Nandi awards,s, and 3 cineMAA awards.
In 2012, she suffered from an immunity disorder which led to a 2-month break in her acting career.
In 2010, she began dating Naga Chaitanya who is the son of famous actor Nagarjuna. After dating for nearly 6 years they married.

She has two movies in the queue first is the Tamil film “Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal” starring Vijay Sethupathi and Nayantara. And second is the Telugu language movie “Shaakuntalam” starring Dev Mohan and Aditi Balan.
